After a week of reading scripts and writing coverage, I think I’ve at least figured out my process.
It takes me about 3 days. The first day is just reading and initial notes, and is really a half-day. The second is to write the synopsis and a brief reel analysis, which takes a lot of fact-checking through portions of the script, but that gets double-purposed to build my notes and references for the third day. On the third day I turn that pile of notes into a few pages of analysis.
